It’s no mystery to you that I love writing. The fact that I blog speaks for itself. And in my post on Disney LA some months back now, I did touch briefly on how its magic helps bolster my creativity, too. But why does it inspire me so much, and how? And how can it help do the same for you - assuming of course you love writing, too. I’ve come to realise that I’ve not spent an awful lot of time talking to you about my writing and my projects in this blog, but now it’s time for a change. It’s time I shared my learnings with you, and also gave a little insight as to what inspires me.
Curious about something in particular..?

MoDana..?
Paradise comes at a price (literally)
After spending
a month in New Zealand, we headed for Fiji; the chain of tropical islands in
the South Pacific. There, we embarked on a tour with ‘Awesome Adventures’
which took us to four islands, each with a ‘unique’ resort of
its own. Well, as unique as an island resort next to a beach can be, of course. Here
though, I think ‘unique’ translates into ‘standards.’

Caves And Volcanoes
Waitomo - home to glow worm caves and possibly Hobbits
I’ll cut to the
chase here: we visited two caves in Waitomo where we saw glow worms. If you
don’t know what they are, then the name is a bit of a give-away. But they’re
actually larvae that cling to the cave ceilings, and are bio-luminescent so as
to attract prey. It’s only their livers that are glowing though, but in the
pitch black of a cave, it makes no difference. As we cruised up and down a cave
river in total darkness, we may as well have been looking at a constellation of
stars overhead. It was quite otherworldly.
